Shogo is now 5 for 18 with 4 walks to 1 strikeout and 2 stolen bases over the last week of games (including today), small sample size obviously but that's looking more like what I think we expected.

We all love Garcia, but I’d rather have Galvis getting these chances.

Think I'd rather have had Galvis up in that spot, but the people demanded Garcia

He’s overmatched. I’m all for getting him ABs when we’re officially out of it, but this is a really bad time for OJT.

Odd Garcia gets every start despite his clear struggles. Maybe a day off would do him good? Galvis went from never ever not playing the whole game to never ever playing.

Not the best handling of the situation IMO....but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the smartest man in the room.

To make up for it though he’s an awful base runner

Garcia is just not ready. He probably needs at least another full year in the minor leagues.

In a season where moves are being made to go for it, this decision I get the least

I’d go straight platoon. Galvis can hit righties pretty well, and let Garcia hack it in a more favourable matchup and add defensive value. Consistently ugly at bats.

Danny Graves has turned into a real good analyst.

I like him and Sam Lecure better than I do Jeff Brantley

He is looking much better. Still need to have him drive the ball sometimes if he wants to be Nori Aoki.

I was skewered for suggesting that some AA or AAA time might be important for Garcia. Didn’t I see how he hit in spring training?

As for the Reds, I assume they felt the infield defense was killing them, which isn’t wrong.

Don’t know what’s with Galvis, I’m assuming some injury, he hasn’t been on the field for days.
