I apologize, you are correct. I went back on the Pirate ATT network and tailed a lot right at the end. When I watched I had seen it on the plate. Before I typed what i did, I went back at the chart on MLB gameday and it showed it tipping the edge of the zone.

Now Castellanos gets a sinker in the upper middle part of the zone and hits it out to CF for the 2-0 lead.

Like you said, pick 4 and go with them from day one of spring training.
And, as I’ve said too many times, they could have bolstered other areas by trading off the overflow of OFers.

It was a strange off-season with COVID, so maybe Reds couldn’t finish off the roster with late deals. From Aquino’s perspective, I don’t think this approach was helpful to him.

Seems like there are significantly more check swing strikes in baseball in recent years than ever before....is that tracked somewhere? Also, is that just poor habits by the hitters?

That was passed ball, not sure why they are talking about Antone. It surprised Casali by how much it moved,

Goodwin does not appear to have a CF worthy arm

Sometimes you miss the cutoff man, sometimes the cutoff man misses you.

As Brantley just explained nobody on the Reds acted as the cut off man.

Without a cut off man Goodwin has to throw all the way home.

Every throw from mid-CF is not going to be a perfect strike to home.
