That is a good overturn IMO but I'm not sure how it is different from the Votto one a few weeks back.

New method of keeping the Reds from being safe at first.

    Reverse the safe calls.

One can start to wonder about all this.

Except tonight the Reds are actually facing Cy Young.

Let Bauer go as far as possible. Use Iglesias FIRST and Bradley LAST. I don't care if Iglesias gets his feelings hurt. If needed use Garrett where the leftys are coming up IF Bauer needs help then Iglesias to Bradley. A complete game is optimal. A back end bullpen with those three may turn out to be money.

At what point is a catch deemed a catch? A great stretch by Rizzo, but surely it can't be defined as the instant it touches a glove, right? There has to be possession or something?

Yea, didn’t really look like enough to over rule the call on the field to me.

I think it’s when the ball hits the mitt. Announcers said that in an earlier Reds game this season.

I hope Bauer accepts his qualifying offer.

This guy has an ERA in the 6’s so he’s definitely gonna strike out the side here
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
