My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

I knew this was coming. Rolen's time here was over rated IMO. He didn't ever "leader" them to a World Series.

Yes, because making an error means that you definitely can't be a leader.

Getting Lucas Sims for Duvall may turn out to be a pretty good exchange for both clubs.

Edwin's time here was also way overrated. He was never going to put it together here. In fact, if he hadn't been traded for Rolen, he probably would have been non-tendered at the end of the season.

The Blue Jays and the Athletics gave up on him, too.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

    Chad Mottola and Nick Howard

Would sure like to have Tanner Rainey back.

Recently to me the obvious answer is Hamilton (although I understand their reasons for doing it).

    Votto
    Hamilton
    Rolen
    Bruce

    Would've been a hell of a 2-5 back in 2010.

I agree with this. Sims has been just so good.

I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

How about Mike Caldwell in 1977? I believe he was given away the same day they traded for Seaver. He would have looked good in those 1978 and 1979 rotations.

    Joaquin Andujar.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
