Edwin encarnacion has added 33 war since leaving the reds

That’s the same exact number votto has contributed over the last 8 seasons.

wow great job guys I can believe I forgot Jeff MOntgomery for Van Snider, and leaving Danny Tartabull,Jose's son exposed, and Cincinnati native Jeff Russell,, I actually had Wilcox on the list

Howie Nunn was kept instead of MIke Cuellar, they got Jeff Shaw for Konerko but still got fleeced

I have to admit, I didn't like seeing O'neill leave town, but I thought Roberto Kelly was going to be an MVP type.

They got Mike Cameron for Konerko, not Shaw. They actually traded Shaw for Konerko originally.

He was only a Red for a minute, but John Wetteland was traded as a prospect.

Cameron is another guy they gave up on too soon, and yes, I know who they got for him. I didn't really like the deal when it happened.

Let's face it, the Junior deal turned out to be nothing for the Reds in hindsight other than artificially putting a guy in a Reds uniform so the fans could watch #500 and 600 home runs. It never felt that great to me since most of those homers came for another team.

Hamilton was top 7 in mvp voting in 3 of his next 5 years in Texas

Won one mvp. Finished 5th and 7th as well.

It really hurts cause it’s the same window the reds fleetingly got decent, 2009-2012

He was the property of the Reds for about 2 weeks, but never played a game for them. He went on to win 373 games in the bigs. Christy Mathewson. He played briefly as a Red at the end of his career. Ed Roush came along with Mathewson in that return deal to Cincinnati.

December, 1900: Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds from Norfolk (Virginia-North Carolina) in the 1900 rule 5 draft. (Date given is approximate. Exact date is uncertain.)

December 15, 1900: Traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the New York Giants for Amos Rusie.
Rusie pitched one season for the Reds, and stunk up the joint.
