    What’s worse:

As Reds fans, we’ve experienced both lately. So what’s more disheartening for a fan? A team without the talent to compete, or a team with talent that underachieves?

    I don’t think it’s either.

Because if you have competent decision makers at the top, you’ll know it will be corrected. Not having folks leading the franchise that can make well rounded, shrewd, baseball first decisions is the worst. In short, the reds are managed, owned, run, coached and directed by a massive group of fing losers.

The reds have had 6 years to rebuild and have failed miserably.

A few trades worked out, most have been laughable

    Drafted miserably.

    Signed international talent moronically

    Developed players miserably.

Can you imagine the late 90s/2000s or the current 6 years happening to a real franchise? No. Because honestly, it’s hard to be this incompetent

My position is that if the talent was so good they wouldn’t be hitting .210.

I'll take the team with the talent. A hot streak and maybe you can parlay that into a couple of long term building blocks.

All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Also don’t let the fake narrative that the poor reds are just ‘unlucky’ guide you.

    The reds are not unlucky.

They are a short cutting, cheap, short sided organization that has rewarded mediocrity, been afraid to make decisions and has been guided by nepotism And horrible decision making for too long. The whole franchise is rotting

The reds are most certainly not unlucky. They are the product of being a laughingstock-run organization in every facet for decades

Sure, injuries, small samples of babip etc show up. But they do for every team. The reds are just fantastic at being losers

    Why are you here?

You believe this team and this organization is just a bunch of loosers. You have made that point clear in about every post you've made so why hang around a bunch of Reds Fans after you've told us all that you hate everything about this team?

Because I’m a reds fan who is grounded in reality?

Go Ahead and refute what I said. Please, tell me Why I’m Wrong.

Is the reds miserable production decade after decade offending you?

    Re: What’s worse:

Back to the original question: I'd always choose the lovable losers. Underachieving is a culture that can seep into an organization and completely ruin it.

I look at it this way: the Mets won 66 games in 1966, 61 games in 1967, and 72 games in 1968. The Tigers won at least 88 games each year from 2011-2014. I would much rather go through the mental anguish once each season, preferably when it is coldest out, and occasionally be surprised by a miracle. Getting so close to the mountaintop only to repeatedly fall seems grotesque.

There's nobody on this board who can say they're happy with how this team has performed the last decade. C'mon man. Why not be critical if it's warranted. Some fans are tired of this mediocrity and if it offends the sunshine pumpers, then so be it. I love the Reds as much as anyone on this board. But, I see no issue with calling out the obvious.
