Is this Tyler Stephenson’s first start in the majors? If so, congratulations Tyler!

I will post the Cubs lineup when it becomes available
You have to wonder how long it's going to take Senzel to get back with the club. They really need his play in CF and bat in lineup.

And it comes against a righty which means he's taking the place of Tucker.

Senzel is a better hitter than Goodwin with more potential, but I wouldn’t sell Goodwin short. He has pretty good career numbers.

He’s probably a fourth OFer with this team, but give him a little time. Even with the Angels this year he had nearly an .800 OPS and a 114 OPS+.

Goodwin is ok for using off bench and give guys a break. He can steal bases although getting picked off second base was a pretty bad the other day vs Pirates. He's misplayed couple balls in OF as well. Getting Senzel back will make this club better is the bottom line.

Yes, Senzel is better than Goodwin, certainly in potential. But Goodwin has played 345 MLB games and you’re judging him by a few handpicked plays over 8 games, some partial.

I admired two very good catches Goodwin made in CF so far, but I wouldn’t argue he’s Willie Mays.

Yes, he's helped in the absence of Senzel I'd agree.

You might be forgetting that Senzel, just like 90% of the team, was not hitting when he went out. He has been better in CF than most expected though.

He was slumping agree but I like his bat and generally getting these guys back together can be positive on the others in the lineup. The club has missed him. AND, it's a shame the guy is always out of the lineup as well.

I have this spidey-sense tingling that tells me that the win over Yu is going to ignite this club. Or, maybe I just need some Gold Bond.
