Maybe, but in that spot you merely need a fly ball. That was the objective and the hitter couldn’t do it.

Antone with poise on the mound. Lets hope he stays healthy. Makes losing DeSclafani easier. Castillo, Antone, Mahle and Gray nice group bringing back.

I’m not ashamed to admit I didn’t see the Tejay Antone revolution coming.

The season isn't completely wasted. Tejay Antone and Tyler Mahle have been a fantastic development for the next few years.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Reds in pretty good shape here for a team without a hit.

Imagine if they could get a hit.

It’s just a struggle every game with this offense.

Reds are being no-hit thru 4 and yet lead 1-0.

It’s cool that a guy like Goodwin hit well until the minute he put on a Reds uniform
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

goodwin should arguably not even be on the team. yet, bell bats him 5th and gives away outs in the middle of the order. if you're going to play a guy like goodwin, need to bat him 8th or 9th.

    and now it's tied.

Antone has to keep it close for Reds to have a chance to get into the Cards bullpen. Solo HR MUCH better than one with men on base.

it's like we've seen this movie before this season. starting pitcher does his job. offense craps the bed.

This could get out of hand quick if Antone can't clamp down.
