What secondary character deserves its own backstory movie?

Dr. John Watson - I'd gladly watch a spin-off prequel to the Sherlock Holmes films with Jude Law in Afghanistan in the late 1870's.

It is on the whole probable that we continually dream, but that consciousness makes such a noise that we do not hear it. Carl Jung.

I'd also gladly watch a film all about Tyrian Lannister's youth. GoT Animal House style.

I'm going with a character we barely see from the 1992 indie film Simple Men: Mike McCabe, the radical shortstop.

One of Hal Hartley’s wonderful films. Which McCabe, the dad (no name I can remember - is that Mike) or one of his two sons, Dennis or Bill?
It had a good line of dialogue - What is it that makes a man dangerous?
