Anyways, RTG, you are a good guy and passionate Reds fan. All in good fun here. I’m a Stephenson fan too, and surprised he wasn’t given one of the two games today.

I’m not sure if it’s an old school thing, or pitchers getting too comfortable, but I think there is sometimes more going on behind the scenes in transitioning catchers, and might be why they have been slow to give him opportunity despite Barnharts struggles.

I’m with you in looking forward to getting Steve some starts down the stretch, and no question it would be a LOT more fun than watching Barnhart weakly swinging at junk.
