    5 in a row is = to 13.5 games

With Castillo’s disappointing season so far, I look for him to come out and pitch great in this final game with the Bucs. Every game is the newest most important game of the year, if the Redlegs can find a way to win this 5th in a row this could actually get real exciting. We all know how good Castillo can be, we just haven’t seen it yet in 2020. He was good in his last outing, but I see a shut out upcoming.
    Let’s Go Redlegs!!

    ....and Mariners!

I predict a GREAT start from Castillo. Seems like even when Castillo isn't "on" he still has a quality start...man...imagine the playoff game days threads with THIS team.

Pulling for the Mariners as well by the way but pinning my hopes on the cardinals getting worn out and being big time losers.

Castillo has pitched better this season than any other in his area.

His K’s are up, his W’s are down and his ground ball rate is the best of his career, resulting in a career best FIP and xFIP.

Playing the Pirates at home, last game of a series in a season where they have already checked out... this is the easy part.

Hard part is afterwards. When the Reds are playing first place teams and the Cards are playing the Pirates.

Cardinals remaining schedule might be easiest in the majors. Reds might be the toughest.

There is no easy part for this Reds team.

But Flaherty just got torched last night. And the Cards face many double headers further straining their pitching. It’s shaping up to be a foot race to the finish with the Cards and Brewers. Need Disco to right himself for his next start. Need Winker and Cast to ignite again

Cards play Pirates and KC Royals. Reds play the ChiSox and Twins....ouch. Reds gonna have to earn this and this may help them for the playoffs if the persevere.
