Wow. You’re old too Pretty cool.

I think that game taught me to *never* leave game early. I *always* stay till the ninth.

    July 7, 1965. A long time ago.
The Reds beat Koufax in the first Reds game I ever went to at Crosley Field too. Reds won 1-0 Joey Jay was Reds pitcher in 1963 I was 9 years old.

I bet Bauer doesn’t sleep all night because he’s so pumped. I may not either. That joker may throw a perfect game tomorrow night.

The useless Pirates down 7-2 against the Cardinals who are vying for a doubleheader sweep

I am old and my folks took me to Dodgers v Reds to see Drysdale, etc. I'm couple years younger than you and I was pulling your leg on that particular game. I miss Fields like Old Crosley and to that end I've traveled to Chicago and Boston and around to see some old parks. One of my best friends played 18 years in MLB back in 60s-70s-80s and I asked him other day if Forbes Field and Crosley and others when he played were junky and he said yes. Today's parks are just the best. Players today have it made.

Didn’t he beat up a fan once, though? Or was that just another tall tale.
My step grandad played for Cobb (pitched). I asked him if those stories were true. He said "nah, he was even meaner."
