Considering the lineup was stacked and hasn’t produced a run, the “do what you need to do to win today” thought process doesn’t really hold water. If your loaded lineup can’t score all other strategy is fruitless. Save bodies for tomorrow at this point.

I’m just sayin when you run you best lineup (or a pretty damn good one) out and you don’t score, the game was never winnable. Be glad the better relievers are rested for tomorrow. The offense stunk today and there was no overcoming that.

Sims was warm in the pen, they could have used him tonight and still had him tomorrow. Antone should be good tomorrow along with Garrett, Bradley, Iglesias. If you need more than that tomorrow then you aren't going to be in as good of shape as you were tonight down 2 with 2 to play.

Antone threw 42 pitches yesterday. I wouldn't assume he'll be a go tomorrow, but if he is, you shouldn't be expecting much.

Garrett, Bradley and Iglesias can cover 4 innings if everything goes right. What happens if Lorenzen starts showing signs of losing it in the 3rd or 4th?

Bottom line, I wouldn't have gone all-in tonight when you didn't have a good hand.
