Maybe the best throw I’ve ever seen from Tucker

Votto with two bad plays this inning! Throw comes from SS well to the inside and he has his foot on the outside of the bag. Still got the out, but he was on the edge of his reach when it shouldn't have been. The the runner is picked off first and Votto takes forever to get the tag on and they don't get the out that they do a bit later on the CS at 2nd.

Well he’s opsing like 1300 in September. He must have some chance.

The throw over to Votto wasn't particularly good on the pickoff.

Tucker coming into today, was the third most productive position player on the Reds this season so far, according to fWAR. He is actually tied with Casali. Together, they have made a nice catching tandom.

Garbage strike call that has been a ball 80% of the time.

More of a comment about the Reds team as a whole, and their futility with RISP than Barnhart in particular. But of course he has a chance. Ever time a hitter walks to the plate there is a chance

I think that says more about the reds position player group so far this year than Tucker.

That’s 0.6 fWAR, which is fine, but whoopdy do.
What would you say.....ya do here?

In 50 games sharing catching duties it’s very fine for what is generally considered one of our weakest positions s.
