    Someone explain this to me

So I look at the Reds' record and they've got more wins than losses. What is that? Is that allowed? I mean, there's only five games left in the season. What if they win three or more of those? Like, what happens? Some people tell me this winning more than they lose thing has happened before, but that could be a mass hallucination like Spuds MacKenzie or the Chester A. Arthur presidency.

Even stranger, this winning record anomaly has me paying attention to other games the Reds aren't even playing as if it has some bearing on the Reds. I mean, the season ends this weekend, right? So what exactly is going on? I don't understand what this is. Any and all insight into this supernatural phenomenon is appreciated.
    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

I’d explain but I’ve already received an infraction for discussing politics on the main forum.

Lol! When is the last time anyone cared about the Reds as late as September 22?

Maybe that's what it takes for the Reds to win it all. 2020 is our year! LOL

Actually, I have been kicking around this weird Reds fan PTSD thing that in this year in which there is 0 fans and 0 ticket revenue, we win the World Series. Then proceed to going back to being the same old Reds next year.

Would seem about right, actually. Though I would still take the World Series, even in a screwy year.

Well, as a youngster I took for granted this common occurrence. Since 2001 however, I've learned its not common at all so enjoy it.

Hard to believe that wildcard game vs. Pittsburgh was 2013. The famous Cueto chant game. Ugh, what a disaster that was. That was the last time I actually HAD to watch a baseball game.

Last night I kept the screen on as my wife and I ate dinner and she asked, "Is this game really that important?" Seven years of apathy had to be pushed aside and I kept the game on. Almost woke my kids up when Geno hit that HR.
