    WIn the series tomorrow, boys.

On the plus side, Sonny was pretty stellar tonight. Bauer, Castillo, Gray. I'll put that up against any team. But the offense is inconsistent at best and all or nothing. Frustrating for sure. But just win tomorrow and all will be fine.

yep, knew as soon as they got down 3-2 they had no chance.
You’re right about being healthy. To be good you actually have to play.

Just can't rely on the home run as much as this bunch does when you face elite pitching. Won't get you far.

    Better win tomorrow.

THey really need to learn how to make more contact - without "x" tonight we would've scored no runs.

We have Bauer with a 1.80 something ERA vs their guy who has a 5.06. Can we please bust out double digit runs one time?

I mean, Garcia is sporting a higher average than both Suarez and Senzel.

This is not a good lineup.

that is what stings even more for me. we get sonny back, he pitches well, and we still lose the game. the home plate ump was a big reason why, but that was still a bad effort by the reds.

    I would've figured X was Castellanos.

we literally do not have a single hitter that we can count on in the lineup.....our best hitters are league average and would not start for many playoff teams

I’m not sure why the traded for him. We’ve got 7-8 guys just like him so why add more?

    Awful.

Teams that put forth games like that with the season on the line have no business being in a playoff.

I cannot believe this went from a 2-0 lead in the first to a 3-2 loss.
Stranded runners, horrible clutch & situational hitting, stupid managerial moves....what the Reds normally struggle with was on full display tonight.

even as we moved up to tie the Cardinals, etc....always felt like the 8th spot was most likely....a trip to LA
