Tyler Mahle will start Friday in Minnesota. No announcement yet, but Luis Castillo to start Saturday and likely Trevor Bauer on short rest Sunday. #Reds

Frankly, if they can't pull out a win tonight, at home with a legit Cy Young candidate pitching for them against something called Adrian Houser, I don't think they belong in the playoffs.

It's a big game and the Reds have almost every conceivable advantage.

Gotta hope the wind is carrying out because they won't manufacture runs. We'll only score via the HR, and we need to be ahead after 6. Williams and Hader made these guys look like middle schoolers yesterday and we have no reason to believe those guys won't be available today if circumstances warrant.

Biggest game we've seen in many years around here.

You're not wrong, but I'll still hope for a win here.

Cards five with the Brewers will have a big say in all this.

If either of those teams dominate that series, the other will likely fall out.

That could help Reds too, although winning 2 more games certainly is important.

Looks like the absolute best lineup the Reds could throw out there in the biggest game of the season. Too little too late I’m afraid

Good Lord! If the Reds win every game from here on out, WS CHAMPS BABY! And, more realistically, if they spit the last 4, they're in. Whole different world in the playoffs.

Hopefully we lock up a spot Saturday night and Bauer doesn’t have to pitch.

Do you think they should just go ahead and play the last 4 games anyway...you know, for the kids?

Giants have won 16 division games and have 6 left. They’d have to win 4 of those to beat us. Not sure what happens if we end up tied at 19 with them. They have 4 against SD so I think they’re not going to play into it anyway.
