September 24, 2000 was the last game for the "real" Riverfront -- the fully intact stadium with Astroturf.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

I've always been the biggest baseball fan in my family. My dad took me to well over 30 games a year as a kid at Riverfront. Although we sat in the blue, green, and red seats, we spent many games sitting by the RF foul pole in the greens. I have so many good memories hanging out with my dad at Riverfront. Although the stadium was a concrete sauna with sticky floors and a strange smell, it will always be the location for my most fondest of baseball memories.
Next Reds manager, second shooter. --Confirmed on Redszone.

Does anybody remember a movie that was shot in Cincinnati, about a hockey kid who moves to town and tries to fit in with the local street skating kids, and there’s huge race through the streets that ends up outside Riverfront?

I remember sitting up in the Red seats in the 70's in freezing cold April using my straight A tickets.

Saw my first professional baseball games there. I had no basis for comparison at the time, but I loved that place.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.
I have some fond memories of Riverfront, including sitting in the top row of the red seats at the game where Rose got hit 4192, and seeing Johnny Bench hit his HR on Johnny Bench night celebrating his retirement.
