    Padres missed a golden opportunity to score with a lead off triple.

    In terms of wild card, this evening hasn’t started very well.

    Still early in most of the games. Yanks closed the gap on Marlins to 3-2.

    If next season there is a DH, would anybody be okay with going after Nelson Cruz to be a full time DH? Even at his age he still mashes the ball!!

    I think we have enough bad defenders(Votto, Winker) that can be good DHs.

    Somehow both Casali and Barnhart are in the top 15 in the majors in catcher WAR.

    There’s few good ones. It’s actually an area where the cost to upgrade probably doesn’t make sense and should just ride these two and Stephenson for whatever they are able to do.

    i agree Patrick. barnali has been sneaky good this year. casali has over a .900 OPS.
