    I feel like he's pushed the right button 2-3x tonight, first with not letting Mahle get into too much trouble before bringing in Lorenzen, then going to Sims. Now getting Sims out before that can lead to a much bigger jam.

    But just not what you want - to give the Twins any more incentive than they already have - Sims just lost the wrong pitch at the wrong time.

    Feel terrible for both Buxton and Sims - it really shakes both the hitter and pitcher up when something like that happens. Glad to see Buxton walk off like that. And glad the replay showed it to be a glancing blow

    They probably figured Sims and Iggy would close it out. Didn’t expect it to be so sudden.

    So now they’ll have a decision to make in the 9th, Iggy or Bradley. But that’s for later.
