I imagine I won't be nearly as tense and stressed out watching this game as I was last night's.

First time this year that Castellanos hasn't started, I believe. Assuming it's just a day of rest.

So if Cardinals finish one percentage point ahead of the Reds (like they are now) while having played two less games, does that give them 2nd place or do they have to play the makeup on Monday? Still seems unfair to me that they got to wait until all their players were cleared while the Reds had to play ahead a couple times without key guys who had to sit.

David Bell said Archie Bradley had some soreness earlier this week, so he wasn't available for a couple days. He's healthy and good to go now. He may have pitched in the 9th last night if #Reds didn't score add-on runs.

Let’s try to finish ahead of the Cardinals. Dumb dirty Redbirds.

Looks like a play to win lineup for the Reds except for maybe one spot.

Don't really need this one but hey it wouldn't hurt

The makeup games are supposed to only be played if it impacts who will make the playoffs or who is a top 4 seed. If it’s just seeding the winning % is used. There are so many scenarios I’m not sure what will happen.

Cards could very well play Monday - if the extra games could impact whether Cards, Brewers, or Phils make the playoffs.

But Cards would not play Monday simply because they are seeded higher than Reds, having a mere one percentage point lead. That’s just a seeding issue and would not affect home field.

this is wild. how often do we have a reds' regular-season game when the reds have already clinched a playoff berth? i can get used to this feeling.

If the Brewers won next 2 games they would be tied with the Cards and at that point most likely the games would have to played as I don’t think other teams would be too far ahead to no make them be played

I want to see the offense continue to roll so they have confident bats going into the playoffs. Also go Brewers!
