I’d live to see 4 Playoff teams come from the Central.
    That would be cool.
If Milwaukee wins tomorrow, and SF loses tonight & tomorrow, the Brewers would be the 2nd WC

Casali guns the runner down! Nice

Ah, he’s out. Not enough evidence to overturn that

It could be better to play LA in first round rather than later... Reds would only have to beat'em 2 times that way.

So the only way for the Phillies to get in is if they win tomorrow, St Louis wins tomorrow, and the Giants lose last 2?
As I write this Padres up 2-0 now

They uphold the call. That’s the right thing to do.

Nowhere near enough evidence to overturn that

Phillies lost again. They are still alive barely. If the Giants win a game they are eliminated

I agree. I shudder to think of playing them, but you’ll have to beat good teams along the way no matter what.

We can line our pitching up and take it to them. I’d love to knock The Dodgers off their perch.

Yes, but later means 2 other teams with chance to upset them first.
We haven’t fared well at all in LA for 10 years.

the issue with that challenge is if they had called him safe is he eventually slid off the base and the only reason Garcia pulled the tag was because the ump called him out.....if he had not called him out, Garcia likely keeps the tag applied and he would have been out when he slid off the base

Reds losing this game is really only disconcerting when you view Castillo effort. He has to recover for the playoffs or he won't be given much rope against whomever.

you sound like my friends that are Dodger fans....they want no part of the Reds in a 3 game series....or they at least prefer someone without our 3 starters in a short series. They keep telling me how it would be better for the Reds to play someone else as if I can control the outcome.

    I’d MUCH rather play Atlanta.
    Let someone else beat LA.
With their heavy lefty power lineup... we prob get outscored 7-1 minimum in our 2 games.
Game 3 would not be necessary.
Unless Bauer just pitched out his mind and shut them out.
And we find a way to scratch across a run.
No CHANCE I want LA in the WC round.
U gotta be absolutely crazy to want that.

It is such a double edge sword...can’t argue with the logic of winning 2 of 3 is easier, with but you can’t deny they are the best in the NL until proven otherwise.

I still just don’t see this team having the clutch hitting it needs to win.
