I’d have snuck Winker and Shogo in there just to get some reps vs a junk throwing lefty cause you know that’s coming their way in the playoffs.

2 off days in a row so rest isn’t a big concern.

They will be in as soon as Hill is out.

Which negates getting reps vs a lefty.

I just know there will be a tough lefty matchup for those guys in the playoffs where it is inopportune to PH for them. Give them a few ABs today vs Hill for some real game practice.

Would be big to win this one
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

What's the hope now? Go to SD with their best starters hurt?

Paddack scares me a bit if he's spotting his pitches but he's been off all year.

SD is probably the best opponent but really I'm fine with it being ATL or CHC either.

I'd just like to finish above .500 and see them take yet another series from a really good team.

Biggest things I like to see is a solid, short outing from Gray and a big day from Senzel.

I never like to put too put emphasis on one game but yeah, today’s results will determine whether some posters are handed a golden ticket to preen “Bell couldn’t even get these guys over over .500” for the next 6 months.

    Gotta win today guys!

Come on. We all know the Reds could win the World Series this year and still there will be pages posted on what Bell did wrong.

Winker is 4 for 46 in September.

I don’t think they want to play him much against lefties right now.

Does have 13 walks in that period.

I like the Twins' retro powder blue uniforms from the 70's/early 80's, but I don't like that they wear them at home. The powder blues were a road uniform.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

I remember all those pages about what Sparky did wrong.

Cards lose Dakota Hudson to Tommy John. I can't see them doing much if they get in. Martinez is out as well I'm pretty sure.
