Reds are among teams that love Didi Gregorius, who originally signed and debuted for them. SS is a priority for them so it could be a match but they expect top prospect Jose Garcia to be ready at some point in the not-too-distant future.

The Atlanta Braves have non-tendered outfielder Adam Duvall, sources tell ESPN. The 32-year-old, who is coming off a 16-homer season in 57 games, is now a free agent.[/QUOTE]

Braves will consider re-signing outfielder Adam Duvall, who became a free agent after the team non-tendered him today. Without an assurance of a DH in the National League, club wants to stay flexible in LF. Duvall projected to earn $4.7M in arbitration, per @mlbtraderumors

Reds non-tender Farmer, Casali, Goodwin, Bradley, Alaniz.
    Hope isn't a strategy

#Reds were looking to free up salary to use elsewhere, so they non-tendered Archie Bradley, Curt Casali, Brian Goodwin and R.J. Alaniz. MLBTradeRumors projected about $9-12M collective salary for them.

    Mark Feinsand @Feinsand

Last year, 56 players were non-tendered. The predictions that this year would see a huge increase proved incorrect with the total at 59.

Farmer re-signing means that 58 players were added to the free-agent market.

Reds are still in a win-now mode. I see it more as a reality check on how much they'll spend this offseason. Needed to free up money to have money to spend.

Bobby do you think the Reds will sign anyone now?

    Bobby Nightengale @nightengalejr
Yes. I'd be very surprised if they didn't add a shortstop. More pitching depth too.

I hate that they aren’t even pretending they’re trying to sign Bauer
