Gotta love a guy with an old-school sounding first name like "Art" in today's game!

Interesting (if dated) article from BA.

I'm guessing Motus Sleeves will be used, at the least.Individualization has been a key part of Conger’s approach. Each pitcher at Tarleton State had an individualized throwing program designed specifically for that pitcher. Conger viewed it as his job to use data as much as possible to help customize everything they did for each pitcher. They also used the Motus Sleeve to help customize pitching workloads during the season.
In his talk, Conger explained that having limited resources is not a reason to throw up one's hands. It just required work to figure out how to acquire the tools his program needed. Most importantly, as a coach, he said he believes it is his job to continue to develop. It was a mantra handed down from a coach he worked for.
“If you don’t grow, you’ve got to go,” Conger said.
https://www.redreporter.comWarren went straight from AA to the big leagues in 2019, making his debut for the Mariners with a cup of coffee of 5 1⁄3 innings without allowing a run. The Rangers picked him up off of waivers on October 21st and was designated for assignment by the Rangers on December 26th. As a 27-year-old, he’ll compete for a spot in the Reds’ bullpen, and even if he doesn’t make the team out of spring training, could prove to be a midseason bullpen option if the Reds can keep him on the roster. The Reds’ roster is now at 35, so plenty of space there still.
Mets appear to be in “deep talks” for Lindor.

The Francisco Lindor-to-the-Mets trade is being finalized, sources tell ESPN. This is going to happen. The first mega-move of the Steve Cohen era gives the team its new face.
Reds continue to rely on strong pitching coaching to advance bargain pickup pitchers.
This is fine so long as they aren’t betting on magic. No problem with a trial for the 7th or 8th guy in a bullpen. But last season too much high leverage use of this type pitcher IMO.
Holy crap:

The Mets will also be getting Carlos Carrasco from the Indians in the Lindor deal, per source.
