    Those series were a lot of what hooked me on Baseball. I remember getting off the school bus in the afternoon and running home as fast as I could from the bus stop (in those days the bus didn't come straight to your house), just so I could watch Gibson pitch. We were all surprised when Mickey Lolich outpitched him.

    Interesting fact about Joe Morgan...he hit .313 vs Gibson and struck out just 3 times in 83 at bats.
