    I would put McLain in CF and fast track him to Cincinnati. Reds could use a high floor CF in the system

    McLain knows how to lift the ball in games despite having fringe raw power and his hit/pop combo should be enough to profile at either middle infield position or in center field if his new team wishes to revisit that.
    If McClain is there for the Reds I'd take him, seems like he's more than athletic enough for CF, but he won't drop to 17 so it's a "moo" point.

    Just for the record: I would be A-Ok with drafting McClain, but I’m just tired of putting players at positions other than their natural position.

    It's especially weird considering the lack of shortstops we generally have on the farm.

    i like bednar from ms state at 17. add another promising starting pitcher to our young arsenal that is of course led by greene and lodolo.
