Damn, man. This has been a tough year for baseball's legends.

Ok, this year officially sucks.

At his peak, the greatest player to ever wear a Reds uniform. R.I.P.
Morgan, Gibson, Seaver, Ford, Kaline, Brock…..

You weren’t a Reds fan in the seventies if you didn’t add the Morgan “chicken flap” to your swing in little league.
His 1976 season might be the greatest season ever by a MLB player.
One irony about him is that while he never accepted sabermetrics as an analyst, he was one of the most perfect sabermetric players when he played.

I was just thinking about Morgan with all the other passings we've had of Hall of Famers. I remember he has had some health issues for a while and wondered how he was doing. This is a sad day for Reds fans from that era. For a few seasons he was the best player in the game and probably the best I ever saw. This is terrible news. RIP little Joe.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Very sorry to hear this. An all time great player. Reds most brilliant trade ever to acquire him.
RIP.
Has there been any confirmation? He’s been ailing, but this could be a foul up of some kind.
