    Prasco report

Forgive me if this has already been posted somewhere, but some real interesting stuff from our top prospects at Prasco. Particularly involving India.

If India develops into a decent MLB starter, that would be game changer for the Reds future plans.

I'm wondering how close Santillan, Greene, and Lodolo are.

Each of the three could well be effective relief arms as early as 2021.

If they trade Iglesias to save money, I think Greene could be the closer before 2021 is over. I think he's two or three years away from starting in the big leagues because of his lack of innings, but he could come in and pitch in relief pretty quickly IMO.

FWIW, I suspect that the Reds see a TOR starter in Greene and will handle him carefully. That would mean keeping him in a starter role in the minors where he can continue to develop his secondary stuff better.

Next year, likely at AAA, Reds should give India more reps at second base and corner OF.

With some player movement, I could see an opening at one of those spots. Or at least as super utility IF/OFer.

I love the possibility of an up the middle of Stephenson, India, Garcia, and Senzel taking the team into late '20s. I wouldn't object to sending any of them out in the right deal, but if they reach their ceilings, that's a solid team.

The Reds need a Right Fielder. Aquino is the only guy on the Roster. We saw how Castellanos can't play there. Winker doesn't have the arm even if he could actually play. Shogo doesn't have the arm. I supposes Goodwin could play there. Senzel or India need to move there IMO. I like the idea of one at 2B and the other in RF. Not sure which should go where. Senzel has already adjusted to OF, but RF is different than CF and I don't know if the arm injury he came back from last year has left his arm weaker to where he couldn't handle RF.

Color me skeptical that the outcome of Prasco is they're all doing great and going to be quality major leaguers. I'd feel a lot better if the report was a handful of them are murdering the others.

Got the same vibe. Probably good to remember this is a series for MLB.com, and that they produced one for each team.

Then when you realize that it's effectively a write-up of only the Reds top prospect and the insight is they "matured," you can mark this up as little more than team website fodder.

    That said, I enjoyed it!

I thought there were a few nuggets, like Santillan's velocity bouncing back to 2018 levels...
