Because he knows he has no leg to stand on (no pun intended). He's going to be rightfully blamed for having a crappy OL. No one would blame him if they spent the offseason remaking the OL and this still happened. However, we all know how bad it is and he SHOULD be fired specifically because of this. Zero excuses

Will be rooting hard for the Bengals to lose out at this point, of course.

4th if you count Dalton, but that's a bit of a stretch.
I agree Burrow is on Brown and the lack of a O Line...

Palmer had a decent team around him when he was hurt, that was actually a super bowl team if they get by Pitts there.

    Who is the 3rd?

He would never give Dalton a Center.

Yeah, I swore I was done rooting against them once they got Burrow but I want Taylor gone. Not that they need our help. This team is hopeless without Joe.

Yeah, I know. I hate to do it, too. But, we need as high of a draft pick as we can get because we can't count on Management to do the right thing. We need to embrace the ineptness for what it is and root for it to work in our favor.

Palmer had an excellent offensive line in 2005. That was a freak accident.

As soon as Finly came in, he panicked every play and forgot he has a great player named Gio he can toss the ball to for an out. It's like he's never heard of deception, looking defenders off, how to use a pocket, etc.

What Center did he have in 2005?

Talking about quarterbacks taking a beating this year - and Burrow has - watching the Browns-Eagles game and I feel sorry for Carson Wentz. LOL

They let Big Willie walk, Levi Jones went to pot, and they kept their online coach about 10 seasons too long when Palmer injured his elbow.

I agree, the knee injury was a fluke. They had a great line that season.

Willie - Steinbach - Braham - Williams - Jones was a pretty good line. Quarterbacks get hurt. It just seems to happen to the Bengals at awful times.

That throw was the last time Carson Palmer ever fully stepped into a throw.

    I would disagree with this.
