Sure, they could complete it no matter what. Always a next man up somewhere...

It would be an interesting experiment as to the power of the NFL brand if, say, half of the starters were on IR due to covid. Would people still watch? I probably would.

I was shocked the niners played as they were at a competitive disadvantage with everything they had going on (covid, injuries) it really resulted in a one sided game.

There's no football olympics, so there's not that to screw things up.

Yeah the 49ers have the Super Bowl loser jinx going for sure this year

Tankathon Update: With ATL and Minny wins the Bengals are #9 and will move to #8 assuming Patriots win over J-E-T-S tonight

2-6 Chargers moved up to #6

Steelers place four more on Reserve/COVID-19 List

The Steelers placed four players on the Reserve/COVID-19 List on Tuesday morning.

The four players include quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins, running back Jaylen Samuels and linebacker Vince Williams. All will be isolated for five days and are not permitted in the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

The players will need to pass COVID-19 tests throughout the week before they before they are potentially eligible to play against the Cincinnati Bengals one Sunday. The players are permitted to take part in virtual meetings.

Roethlisberger injured and no practice all week has to help the Bengals, right?

Haha, how long have you been a Bengals fan? The way this turns out is Roethlisberger doesn't practice all week, comes back to play Sunday, breaks his leg in warmups, throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs, and the announcers fawn over his courage and bravery.

Bengals continue to make in-season moves - picked up Takk McKinley, former 1st round DE just cut by Falcons. Can't hurt to kick the tires there.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

Change of scenery might do wonders...honestly didn't think he would fall to us when ATL cut him loose.

Hart is out Sunday, Hubbard back in...

McKinley was also claimed by SF, Browns, and Raiders so there was some interest out there but not much mostly due to his attitude in ATL.

Two Corners out for the Bengals. Atkins also out for personal reasons.

    Mixon still out.

    Jonah Williams still out.

Green out for the last three years.

3 corners for tomorrows game...one would think they would elevate another from practice squad if cleared...

Bad luck stat of the week...John Ross gets hurt again.

Jonah is questionable - not out for sure. Lack of CBs is a definite concern going into tomorrow.
