We’ve now heard from every Sheriff in our SoCal viewing area. San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura, & Riverside Counties will not actively enforce the curfew order. LA Sheriff will take a voluntary compliance/education first approach, will not make any arrests related to order

This stay at home order is only for the period between 10 pm and 5 am, so most businesses will be open and working. The entertainment industry rarely works during normal business hours, so this makes sense, if you want to keep shooting going.
Here is the actual wording: “Workers supporting the entertainment industries, studios, and other related establishments, provided they follow covid-19 public health guidance” As I explained in great detail awhile back, the Covid-19 guidance is rather strict, so strict that there are very few shoots. I know a few that even tried and shut down because they found it too difficult to follow and stay within budget, especially if they are fully union.
