    Harold Baines is in the Hall of Fame. I don’t use him as a beacon. “Well since Baines is in I suppose ______ should be in.” Nah.

    Same thing with Anson and any other of that ilk. “Well, Anson is in so I suppose I’ll only exclude someone based on character if I view them as worse than Anson.” Again, nah.

    I’m just saying allowing those already in the Hall to set the standards for whatever it is you are judging is asking for trouble.

    And as a disclosure I’d hold my nose and vote for Schilling.

    Now for the good news it does appear Rolen is on the should-be-elected road.
