    Today's (18th) numbers. 14,707,184 administered. Up about 400K today.

California, Texas, Florida over 1 million. NY right on edge of joining them

WV still the % leader at 8.58%

Florida the % leader of big population states at 5.24% (Ohio at 3.8)

31.1 Million doses distributed, so about 16.5 million not administered yet.

BTW starting Thursday I will be offline for a few days attending a family funeral in Ohio. I'll have to catch up when I'm back. Unless Kal posts the numbers.

US hits 15 million!!! Up 883K on the day. NY over a million now so California, Texas, Florida and NY have joined that party.

As Kal stated out of nowhere Alaska hits 9.44%. Probably easier to keep vaccines cold there. NY now edges Florida as the big state leader with 5.47%

    31.1 million doses distributed.

    My condolences.

I keep an eye on this daily so I’ll be glad to continue to point out quirks and milestones I notice.

It doesn't seem like it will take too much more organization to hit Biden's goal of 100 doses in 100 days. We've had days of over a million or close to that. A little bump from the feds should get us there.

Bump on doses distributed as we are at 35.99 million doses distributed as of today. I argue that’s the number steering things - once supply is abundant the logistics of who gets it and how will fade out a bit. (This is a county that gives what, 100 million plus flu shots a winter). JNJ single dose on the way as well. A lot more man power pushed at this as well compared to a normal flu shot year.

7 day average of just a tick under a million shots a day. To echo the Rat in the River I predict Biden and the US smash the goal of 100 million shots in 100 days.

US over 17 million. 17,176,247. 1.6 million doses today. Biggest day ever.

Super close to 36 million doses distributed. So more then 18 million not in arms yet.

Same 4 states over a million and Alaska still the percent leader with 9.93 !!

NY still the bid state leader with 5.94%

    Same old song.

Distribution up to 37.9 million doses.
    Doses given at 18.4 million.

Alaska in the lead at over 11%.

Now - it probably has been mentioned but we really need to focus in on what that means. The figure is official given as 11 doses per 100 residents. But since second shots are now being given, it doesn’t necessarily mean 11% of the public has gotten at least some vaccine.

The last 7 days we are over 900k per day given. Biden's goal is looking like a low bar at this point.

    41 million doses distributed.
    21 million doses given

Where’s the disconnect here? The Bloomberg dashboard (which I believe is based on official reporting) claims NYState has been given 2.3 million doses but only administered 1.4 million doses.

The article above claims 97% of doses in the states possession have been given.

It would be a rather positive thing if there simply was a backlog of given vaccines - but is that what is going on?

Is it possible they’re counting the second doses as “administered”, being held back for full immunizations or something?

    22 million given

The UK is at “10 percent” - which again means 10 doses given per 100 people.

    Re: State Covid Vaccine Dashboards

Bloomberg has switched things up again a little bit. The number of doses outstanding is not given. You'd have to do the math....

But we are at 24.5 million administered. Averaging 1.27 million per day over last week.

California is only state over 2 million. Texas, Florida and NY over 1 million.

When you hover over a state now they show the percentage who have first doses and second doses. Florida for example is 6.7% first shot, .8% have completed both shots.
