Some more new rules being tried in the minors:

The Atlantic League, an eight-team independent partner league of Major League Baseball, will experiment with moving the pitcher's mound back 12 inches in 2021, the leagues announced Wednesday. The Atlantic League will also test a "double hook" rule in which the DH is tied to the starting pitcher. Once the starter is removed from the game, the team loses the DH.

I'd rather stay with no DH - but I could see the double hook DH gaining acceptance quickly.

Seems like an incentive for abusing the arms of your SPs.

Why not have right-handed batters run around the bases backwards (3rd to 2nd to 1st to Home)? Then there is no lefty-righty bias.

That is the point. They want to incentivize starters staying in the game longer.

Eh idk, I’d rather have a DH or not have a DH, none of these silly in between rules. Either do it or don’t.

I can see putting the double hook rule in for the sake of there appearing to be more strategy.
However, if that's implemented, the reliever will pretty much always be pinch hit for, just like today.
It doesn't add that much more strategy in my opinion, and the whole purpose of the DH is that the fans
would rather see Winker hit instead of the pitcher..

So let's suppose the DH hits cleanup.. If you take the starting pitcher out, now a reliever hits cleanup?
    That seems incredibly stupid..
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

I was thinking it's a bone to managers who love to play double switch bingo when they go to the pen.

Great that they are trying all these new rules. I don’t see the double hook rule catching on. Just makes the game more complicated and confusing to fans trying to keep track.

The incentive is going to accrue to arm surgeons. Is that the Dr. James Andrews Rule? Or maybe it's the Bryan Price Rule - just one more inning.

Pioneer league is going to decide extra innings with a 5 pitch home run derby. Designate yourbestslugger, 5 pitches most homers win. Tie decided by suddendeath. I actually kinda like it - for the pioneer league. Aquino against anybody in a 5 pitch homer contest.
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

I dont believe that is how it is intended. I believe you have the option of your DH stays in the game, he just has to play the field at that point. Say Winker hits in the 2 hole and DH's. Shogo in Left. Youd have the option of Wink staying in the game, he just becomes the LF. Maybe you take Shogo out. Maybe Senzel just hit and you shift Shogo to Center, put Wink in Left and take Senzel out...etc. It could add quite a bit of strategy to the game...not just as simple as pitcher comes out and DH is done.
