    Paul Westphal = exciting basketball.

    You never turned away from a game he was involved in as either a player or a coach.

    I always like Westphal when I was following the NBA more closely. A real sharpshooter and all around good player. He had a great performance in that epic game 5 of the 1976 Finals. Still the most exciting NBA game I have ever seen. RIP Paul Westphal.

    Westphal - the first young buck coach in my life who I’ve truly seen grow into an old man and succumb. A milestone for me.

    Loved his Suns teams.
