I'm aware who owns WSJ. It's still one of the world's best newspapers. Just has a terrible editorial page. Ditto NYT.

It's pretty well impossible to avoid propaganda. But those are about your two best options. Mix in some Financial Times and Economist and you're doing about as well as you can.

Al Jazeera and BBC are good sources of international fact based journalism.

Re: Monitoring the 7 Day Covid Trend Line. Looking for a peak

Unfortunately, we seem to be dealing with the surge moving north. I don't thnk it will get as bad in the northern states as it did in the south, but the reduction in cases in the hardest hit southern states where this surge seems to be burning out (Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia) are largely being offset by increases in states like Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York. Also, Texas hasn't slowed down yet the way the southeastern states have. Some declines in Texas would go a long way towards moving the national case numbers in the right direction.

Re: Monitoring the 7 Day Covid Trend Line. Looking for a peak

It'll be interesting to see what happens around the time of what would be the next two month peak. The colder weather usually breeds more isolation anyway. The holidays could spike things, however.
