We kept some guys. (We haven't lost much)

Next to nothing on offense. Hyde and Dorsett do nothing for me.
Still feel we’ll sign one playmaker, probably Curtis Samuel, though I’m holding out hope for Golladay.

Well you were right we picked up Marvin Jones from Lions. Also got Alualu back and Malcolm Brown. Jags did a lot to solidify the d-line.

    Edit

At 4 PM Jags cut a bunch of guys

    CB Quenton Meeks
    CB Rashaan Melvin
    P Cameron Nizialek
    CB Josh Nurse
    RB Craig Reynolds
    DT Dontavius Russell
    DT Al Woods
    DT Gabe Wright

A lot of guys became Free Agent. Some big names (around here) Rosas (for some unknown reason) and O'Shaughnessy immediately resigned with Jags. The Mike Glennon era is over.

    -------

JACKSONVILLE – Keelan Cole officially became a free agent Wednesday. So did Abry Jones.

They weren't alone, with 15 other Jaguars players becoming unrestricted free agents when the 2021 NFL League Year officially began Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Jones was the most-tenured player on the Jaguars' roster last season while Cole, who originally signed with the Jaguars as a collegiate free agent shortly after the 2017 NFL Draft, was among three veteran Jaguars receivers becoming free agents Wednesday.

Wide receiver Chris Conley and Dede Westbrook also became free agents, as did tight end Tyler Eifert – the latter of whom became a free agent when the Jaguars opted to not pick up the option on his contract for 2021.

Like the other players who became free agents, Eifert is now free to sign with another team.

The Jaguars players who became free agents Wednesday at 4 p.m.:

Cole, Conley, Eifert, quarterback Mike Glennon, defensive end Adam Gotsis, cornerback D.J. Hayden, safety Josh Jones, defensive tackle Abry Jones, defensive end/linebacker Aaron Lynch, cornerback Greg Mabin, tight end James O'Shaughnessy, defensive tackle Caraun Reid, kicker Aldrick Rosas, defensive tackle Daniel Ross, tight end Eric Saubert, running back Chris Thompson and Westbrook.

The players becoming free agents started a combined 72 games for the Jaguars this past season, with Glennon starting five games. Gotsis, Jones and O'Shaughnessy each started 13 games.

Ian Rapoport says Jags getting calls on Minshew

    -------------------------------

One QB to monitor: The #Jaguars have received a few calls from teams inquiring about QB Gardner Minshew, source said. The Jax QB room is in flux, and we’ll see where this one goes.

Figured the Chris Thompson experiment was over, that was all about Jay Gruden.

Somewhat surprised by Dede but I guess his time in Jax has run its course. Always hoped he'd take that next step and become a top slot guy. If he ends up in the right place he could do well.

Thought I had posted about Jags getting CJ Beatherd. He looks to be the backup QB assuming Minshew ends up elsewhere. Urban says Jags talked a lot about Alex Smith but apparently Jags doctor shot him down.

So Tim Tebow has been working out as a TE and is potentially going to join the Jaguars. He’s worked out with Jacksonvilles TE coach.

Well, the Jags went all Clemson in Round 1 taking Trevor Lawrence as expected and then RB Travis Etienne. Urban talked over and over about adding speed. Etienne brings that in spades. Jags #1 on the clock again.

Post Day 1 Press Conference with Jags on the clock, Trent Baalke says

'We have 3 or 4 guys with first-round grades still sitting there going into tomorrow”

JaxRed says - trade back a few spots.

So far I hate the Jags draft. We picked a 3rd down RB, a backup corner and a backup OL.

And now someone took TE Friermuth about 6 picks before the Jags could take him.

    Alternate view from Chris Simms

Andre Cisco was my #1 safety in this draft. Speed jumps out on film, and great hips give him +++ range.
    @Jaguars
secondary stacked with young talent. They are killing this draft.
