This should make for an interesting few days of discussion (maybe not here, but certainly on Twitter, the news, etc.).

    Re: RIP OJ Simpson

I hold one OJ memory and one only, never saw him in films, never cared for him as a "celebrity" and that whole LA thing in the 90's... well yeah, since then....

How about that 1973 season eh?

    Damn....

I can't say I'm at all sad about this. I wonder if he left us any notes about the truth of what really happened

Could be a short note: remember that book I wrote, If I Did It? Well, I did it.

Was there ever a more shocking fall from grace that OJ?

Perhaps. But a lot of people knew or suspected about what Cosby did years before it was made public.

Does this mean he's stopped looking for who really did it?

Does this mean Hertz will be slashing prices in remembrance?

Didn't he write a book that pretty much all but confessed to it?

RIP isn't the first thought that came into my mind, more like rot in hell.

Anyhoo, I enjoyed him as Nordberg and in those Avis commercials. I'm too young to remember watching him play football (if I was even alive when he was still playing, I'm guessing I was born (1977) slight before his playing days were over, but too lazy to look it up. Watched the verdict come down from my dorm room freshman year of college; still amazed he was not found guilty. Will never forget the white Ford Bronco driving down the highway. Crazy
