I agree. The story develops pretty slowly, so it's more like binging the first half of a six-episode mini series. But the runtime didn't feel three hours long. Looking forward to Part 2.

That was better than I expected.
Also caught Kinds of Kindness over the weekend. Weird film. Really well acted. It's a triptych, and all three different stories feature the same actors in different roles. The first and third are great. The second fell a bit flat, but raises the most questions.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is truly a mess of a movie (it's like they took 3 different scripts and awkwardly cut and pasted them together at the last minute), but it's also really funny. And just a lot of fun to watch. It got at least 3 genuine LOLs out of me.
