RIP “The Dugout Wizard” Tommy Lasorda

While I hated the Dodgers growing up, I had a soft spot for Lasorda. He loved the game, and was always a joy to listen to in any interview. We need more people like Lasorda in the game now. He will be missed.

We can thank him for the Paul Konerko trade that ultimately netted the Reds Griffey, Jr.

    A sad day for baseball.

For me at least, he was always one of those managers you loved to hate, but at the same time had respect for. I loved going to Reds-Dodgers games more than any just because I enjoyed booing him whenever he walked out of the dugout.

    I'm sad he's gone. RIP

Who makes up the Dodgers' Mount Rushmore?

I've got Robinson, Lasorda, and Koufax. Who else? Snider? Kershaw? Hersheiser?

Tommy could turn the air blue with the best of them.
