They just need some Indians shooting arrows back and then it would be even.

The Bucs would be in trouble because I am not sure I have ever seen a sober person on that boat.

What's to stop some local from firing cannons? They could be heard from the Stadium.

    From Rotoworld w/ Rotoworld comments:

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Panthers plan to make a "strong push" for Deshaun Watson. Rapsheet reports Carolina will be "aggressive" in pursuit of the elite quarterback. As we know, any team with even a passing need at quarterback should be checking into Watson's availability, but the Panthers are a particularly good fit. They have both an acute need under center and the No. 8 overall pick in the draft. The Texans will surely like the fact that they also reside in the opposite conference, limiting the amount of times Watson will be able to embarrass them in the years to come. Sporting an aggressive front office, the Panthers should be taken seriously if the Texans give into Watson's demand to be dealt.

Seems that a lot of talking heads already have Watson in a Jets uniform.

A lot of talking heads also are NY-centric in their views.

This is going back to a conversation from a couple weeks ago, but here are Albert Breer and Bruce Feldman, a top NFL and top CFB reporter, both saying that NFL coaching is less stressful than college. It may have been different for Jimmy Johnson, but that was 30 years ago. Elite College Football is a different game now.

Looks like Amanda Gorman is going to recite some poetry at the Super Bowl next weekend. Not an idea I would have had probably, but we're putting some culture on this mother. If I can get drunk, eat awful foods, watch football AND get credit for going to poetry reading, sign me up!

The Jets and Watson would be a perfect fit. Watson quit on his team while the Jets have quit on their fans for years.

The Jets owner was recalled immediately from his Ambassadorship in the UK when Biden took over. He's there to meddle all he can right now. Anything can happen. He needs the attention, so he just might pull this transaction off. They have tradeable pieces.

Matthew Stafford trade: Years of Lions and Rams mistakes are what made them perfect, awkward partners

Let's not kid ourselves: The Rams-Lions blockbuster could wind up as a win/win, but it's also a lose/lose

What got it done was that the Lions' current G.M. screamed the loudest when he worked for the RAMS when they drafted Goff. He truly wanted Goff, and trading an old Stafford for a guy he felt worthy of the overall #1 pick was a no-brainer in his eyes, especially when three starters get tossed in to boot. All other teams only offered 1st Rd picks from this year where the QB available for the Lions to take would be a coin-flip, at best, as far as potential, while there would still be the years of development ahead for that pick. The Lions' G.M. has to feel like he's at least two years ahead of any rebuild plan. Even if Goff doesn't pan out, which the gamble is surely worth it in his eyes, they can always draft a QB with their own pick and/or combination of picks in 2023, or even next year if they fall flat on their faces.

personally as a Bucs and WVU fan, I sometimes get a little confused without artillery fire when we do well.

    2020 NFL Season: Playoffs + Hiring/Firing time

Every year I realize I’m becoming more pop culturally challenged watching New Years and Super Bowl entertainment.

    Defenses look strong starting out.

A healthy Mike Evans has made a huge difference for Brady! Teams were able to single cover him early in the year, but not any more.
