As in, weighing when exactly when he thinks Jose Garcia will become the starting SS.

“Whatever they need me for. It’s an honor."

Holder says he’s been primarily a shortstop coming up through the Minor Leagues.

“Shortstop is primarily where I play."

    March 2, 2021 - I think Nick needs a new scale.

He needs to ask Big Bob to take his thumb off the other side of the scale.
    Hope isn't a strategy

And for the owner to pass away, leaving the team to his twelve-year-old grandson, who almost immediately names himself manager!

FWIW, I thought Little Big League was really good, and Rookie of the Year was fine for what it was, as well. Whoever was in charge of getting MLB kid movies made was working overtime in the mid- and late-90s.

Those movies were so great because every little kid who is into baseball dreams about playing in the big leagues. And those movies were all about that fantasy becoming a reality to varying extents while the main stars were still kids.

The problem with that movie is that Tony Danza didn't look like a major league pitcher when he threw the ball.

That why Major League was at least decent (until Berenger stepped to the plate).

Even though it came out just two weeks after Little Big League, I have never seen it. By the way, how in the world did two MLB kid movies come out in a three-week period in mid-1994?

With The Sandlot, Rookie of the Year, Little Big League and Angels in the Outfield, and Ken Griffey Jr. Presents MLB (still my second-favorite baseball video game ever behind MVP Baseball 2005), 1993-94 was a pretty cool time to be a kid baseball fan.

If you're looking for a baseball movie where the baseball is pretty good, I suggest Everybody Wants Some!!.
