Kinda wild that a player is trying to force a trade from a team that just went 12-4

Wilson had the worst stretch of his career in the season’s final eight games, ranking 28th in yards per attempt, one spot below the Cincinnati Bengals’ Brandon Allen.

He doesn't want to leave Seattle.....but his agent put a list of teams he'd go to. (Dallas, Bears, Raiders, Saints)

Depending on which Blue Dot you listen to, Deshaun Watson either met in person or talked on phone with new HC David Cullen. Watson reiterated his desire to be traded and Cullen reiterated that he was not going to be traded.
I'd take the Jags approach. I think I might solve all my cap issues this year, hold the line on Watson go scorched earth to get #1 pick in 2022 draft and then trade Watson after the season for a kings ransom. Who's coming out at QB next year?

Can't imagine Houston getting the #1 overall if Watson plays, that's gotta be good for at least 4 wins.
Seeing a lot of chatter about how Houston shouldn’t budge.
Houston should act like they won’t budge.
Houston should 110% cash in. Doing the opposite would be absolute self sabotage.
I still believe they’ll end up taking a whopper offer from some team. Just not sure when.
Who says no: Jacksonville's No. 1 overall (Trevor Lawrence) and maybe a 3rd next year or Houston giving up Watson?
Maybe the Jags have to give a bit more, but if I'm Meyer and the Jacksonville braintrust, I say yes immediately. I'm not sure what more Houston can want beyond a Andrew Luck-caliber rookie QB. Like I said, maybe some more trimmings to Houston, but I don't know that I want some team's mid-first round picks for the next three years. I'd rather have Lawrence.
I think this is especially interesting, because it's pretty well know that Meyer was agog over Watson coming out of high school. Spoke glowingly of him throughout his college career. He's a Watson fan, and I can't think of a faster way to relevancy than importing one of the five best QBs into the league.
I'm a jags fan. No way I trade Lawrence for Watson and his bad contract.

20 million dollar hit if Watson sits out...
Rap reported a few days ago that a trade was not happening....
However things could change.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.
