I think you spelled Mets wrong.

Wonder what the Dodgers would want for Seager and Price.

There's no way the Reds would add anything close to that amount of salary.

    Jeff Passan @JeffPassan
I think Trevor Bauer getting paid as much as some teams' entire payrolls this season says a lot more about those teams than it does Bauer or the Dodgers.

Can’t see Bauer starting every 4th day in a rotation of Kershaw, Buehler, Bauer, Price, Gonsolin, Urias, and May.

Bauer was good, but his career is not highest paid player in baseball worthy.

Kevin Brown was the first $100 million man in baseball when the Dodgers signed him.

Brown pitched 872 innings with the Dodgers and they paid out 72.5 Million to him, roughly $84.35K an inning. If Bauer throws 450 innings in two years he will be paid $188.888 per inning.

Moral of the story: Teach your kid to pitch if you can

The Dodgers are paying Bauer more than a million dollars per start.

Dave Roberts likes to pull his starters early too.

Imagine being the relief pitcher who blows million dollar plus start.

He will either lead the Dodgers to another, better World Series or be the face of their fantastic implosion.

As an LA resident, I will thoroughly enjoy either scenario!

    Re: Bauer signs with Dodgers

Bauer has been pretty mediocre save for 1 and 1/3 seasons, massive overpay.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

If you’re going to have a career season, the walk year is perfect timing

I will root for Bauer at least for a while. I liked his act.

Knew it was coming but it’s still depressing now that it’s official.

But I can’t be too upset when I think about all the other moves the Reds have made to improve this ballclub.
