NFL has new 7 new head coaches. All first time NFL coaches.

    1. NY Jets - Hire SF Defensive Coordinator Robert Saleh
    2. Philadelphia Eagles - Hire Colts OC Nick Sirianni
    3. Jacksonville Jaguars - Hire former OSU HC Urban Meyer
    4. LA Chargers - Hire Rams DC Brandon Staley
    5. Atlanta Falcons - Hire Titans OC Arthur Smith
    6. Houston Texans - Hire Ravens passing game coordinator David Cullen
    7. Detroit Lions - Hire Saints TE Coach Dan Campbell

Except for Urban Meyer none has ever been a permanent head coach at any level. Dan Campbell was interim HC of Dolphins in 2015 and had a 5-7 record.

Per Adam Schefter the NFL expects the salary cap to be between 180 and 181 million. This is slightly better than the expected 175 million. In 2020 it was 198,200.

I guess Bouye is mostly $$ related. And he's suspended for 2 games of 2021 for PEDs. If old regime was in Jax they might be interested. He was well liked by team. He should be pretty cheap.

I'm hoping the Seahawks sign him. But I also hope they sign him for the player he is today rather than who he was 5 years ago.

I think he finishes in GB (close to home) or Pitts with his brother...

Houston saves a boatload of cash with the release.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Unbelievable they got nothing for him. Just one more reason why their QB wants to, and should, leave.

"Hey, we want to keep you. To show you how much, we'll get rid of a great Defensive Asset just like when we got rid of a great Offensive asset last year for nothing."

Houston Texans trying to reboot, Cincinnati-style.

Last two things for them to do to really emulate, are to trade Watson for peanuts and to fly some freshly cooked skyline chili in to celebrate, sans proper refrigeration.

I'm not sure they could have gotten anything for him. He was owed $17.5MM, has dealt with a number of injuries, and is coming off a season where he had 5 sacks. He's still a valuable player, but I don't know what team would give up real assets to take on that contract.

No team is giving up assets to get a guy who would cost about double what he’s currently worth.
