As the season progressed you knew this was going to be a brutal stretch run. If there is a better team in the country than Illinois, I would like to see them play.
All along I thought this was a confusing team, a team that could make a run, or a team that could flame out early. Hopefully they have a game (or two) in the B1G to get right. All season long they have played one or two bad games, hardly a team that I am disappointed with.
Buckeyes are the 5 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will play the Minnesota/Northwestern winner on Thursday. If they win, they'll play Purdue on Friday. Purdue beat them twice, but both were close toss up type games.

Well, Gonzaga did have that ONE game they won by only single digits. It's pretty reminiscent of 1991 UNLV at this point. Granted, we know how that story ended.
Gonzaga is clearly very very good. They have only played 6 games in a month and they've all been complete blowouts. I do wonder if that will impact them at all when they get into a fight. That said I'm still picking them to win it all.

Nope, can't say I have watched much of them. I am always a little leary of Gonzaga in the tournament because after the first round they are facing competition they haven't seen since December.
Illinois has a dominant big who can run the floor, they have an all american guard, and then guys who can get to the rim when need be. When on, I think they are the best team I have seen OSU play this year.
One concern I have with a lot of B1G teams, is there reliance on the big man. In today's game, the big C isn't what it used to be, and the B1G is chalk full of seven footers.
