I definitely put it in the category of "the article could have been a tweet". They needed a SS and didn't get one

Dan is actually a good twitter follow. He’s funny, self depreciating, and entertaining. Clearly a smart guy.

But it’s also full of hot takes that are cringe worthy. I am guessing this article was the result of him tweeting that the Reds should use Senzel as the SS this season, and all the negative reaction he got. Many of the points he made in the article, he made in replying to all his negative comments.

The way I see it, the longer the Reds go without a decent option for SS (and they don’t have one now), the more they open themselves up for criticisms.

You can say there is still time, players come open in spring training, Garcia’s bat will come along, etc etc, but I see all of those things are pretty durn dicey. I don’t understand why the Reds seem to be slowly backing themselves into a corner.

And then there's Putt Putt Golf and Arcade Land (Reds).

You can still have occasional fun at Putt Putt Golf and Arcade Land, even if they aren't the #1 amusement park in the world. And the owners of Putt Putt Golf and Arcade Land can make good money and consider each year successful without trying to compete with Disney.

I’ve gone a season without Reds baseball and that’s one too many. They may suck, they may play like Bozo the Clowns, but it’s Reds games!!! On this crappy cold snowy virus-weary boring Tuesday night, a warm summer evening at the ballpark with a cold beer sounds pretty darn fine.
