    Spring Training Broadcast Info

Not much info yet. Seeing what I can find.

MLB.TV has a schedule (partial?) of games.

    Reds vs Mariners Mar 12th
Reds vs White Sox Mar 25th
    Reds vs Mariners Mar 29th

The Cubs Marquis network is televising all home games. They will probably show up on MLB Network. They play Reds at home once.
    Sun March 21st.

The White Sox are also broadcasting all home games.
Thursday March 25th will already be available on whitesox.com at a minimum.

I've seen indications that Dodgers will broadcast ALL games, If so they play the Reds March 3rd and 9th.

    Not seeing anything yet.

Would have to imagine an announcement will be made any day now, with the 1st game less than a week away.

Here is what SiriusXM is saying:

Wondering when the teams will be back on the field?
The MLB schedule has not been finalized. Game times and locations will be posted as soon as they become available.

Here is the link to the Reds radio schedule on SiriusXM:

    Re: Spring Training Broadcast Info

Play ball! The Cincinnati Reds return to the airwaves Sunday with the spring training opener from Goodyear, AZ, the start of seven months of Reds games on radio.

All 28 spring games will be broadcast on iHeartMedia's WLW-AM or WSAI-AM. Reds flagship WLW-AM will broadcast 19 games, beginning with the Reds-Cleveland game at 3:05 p.m. Sunday. WSAI-AM will air nine games, mostly weekday games. There are no internet-only games on Reds.com scheduled this spring, unlike recent years.

Half of the Reds Cactus League schedule in Arizona will be night games. Those games will start in Cincinnati at 8:05 p.m. or 9:05 p.m., with one game at 10:05 p.m. on Friday March 19 when the Reds play the Giants.

Fox Sports Ohio has not released its Reds spring TV schedule.

Well, we know at least one #Reds game Fox Sports Ohio/BallySports/FSOhio/NameoftheWeekOhio is televising this spring — Wednesday March 10 against the Royals. KC announced its spring schedule and has it on the list as a Cincinnati TV feed

Can anyone explain why these aren't on FS/Ballys or whatever they are calling it? Every game should be broadcast, I don't get it.

FSO announced that they'll be televising 4 games. I believe this is fewer ST games than usual.

Also, why did they wait to announce it now?

There is a cost for every game produced. They probably did a cost/profit analysis and figured the revenue from early games don’t justify the cost.

They broadcast way more games in years past. I would be surprised if those games are net losses.
