    Re: NBA 2021: 3rd Time's the Charm

PHO showed last night the huge chasm that exists between them (UTA, LAL and LAC, too) and the rest of the league with teams at full strength. POR has to get both Nurk and C.J. back to reach that level.

BKN and PHI could both get there, with BKN needing the big three to play together more often, while PHI needs to figure out a 2nd Unit that's a bit more reliable.

Boogie Cousins has left the building. He is shopping for rings as this is being written. Good luck, DeMarcus.

CLE ends their 10-game losing streak.

ATL is the victim. ATL has issues and doesn't look like they will even be a play-in-team right now.

Trae Young doing his best imitation of what it means when it's said, "stats mean nothing if your team loses, and maybe you're not as good as you think you are".

Tomorrow they play the Celtics in a game being billed as The Walking Dead: NBA Edition.

Not having Giles is killing POR right now. That's about five games now with the quad strain. Kanter is the only big POR has left on the roster.

Doesn't happen often, but Dame lost the game tonight with his lack of hustle and effort from the opening tip (playing through injury and just plain tired). They got back in it when he left the game, but he tried to force his will onto the game in the 4th and he shouldn't have done it.

Clippers rounding into shape. They beat the rejuvenated Wiz by 20 last night, and it wasn't that close, really.

PG shot the lights out. So did Leonard. Ibaka and Zubac can tag team the center spot, offering both offense and sticky D.

Kennard's still a little off. Sweet Lou's been out for a little bit. Beverley has to prove he can stick an open J.

They're going to be a tough out if they're healthy.

The Clips don't really face their demons until the postseason. Then Playoff P comes out.

Think Klay could be back soon. That could really change the west!

Lakers stumbling and still don't think anyone in the west are real deal.

Sixers and Giannis are a step away. Don't think Utah, Jokic or Doncic can hold down the west.

The Clips need the incarnation of Playoff P from his final three playoff appearances as a Pacer.

It should also be noted that PG 13 currently leads the Clips in assists per game at 5.4., which creates more questions than answers.

Here is a piece of trivia that I found interesting. PJ Tucker has played in 28 games this season. He has played at least 20 minutes each time out on the floor. He has not scored a point in 9 of them. In today's NBA, how is a player getting 20 or more minutes of playing time, and not denting the scoreboard in roughly one third of those contests?
